They're such great friends, I'm really gonna miss them when I'm in Japan.. And then this evening I went to the church youth group which was also my last time so I had to say goodbye to a lot of people today!! >.<

Dad's birthday :D
Heya! It's my dad's birthday today :) And it's also 6 days before I go! :O
So today me and my mum went to town to buy stuff for Japan :D (Yes I took the day off school ^.^)
And we stopped by my dad's office to eat lunch with him and eat cake, I love cake! Especially chocolate cake lol xD
It's getting closer and closer.... It's kinda hard to believe! It used to be just a dream and now it's actually become reality! That's crazy to me :O
I went to speak with the Gymnase yesterday with my parents and the directrice said that I should go to Japan, come back and seeing as I'll be taking Spanish then I should go to Spain for a month or two to learn the basics and come back, work on my own and take exams to go straight into the 2nd year of gymnase :)
So it would be awesome if I could do that!! :D But I'm not sure I'll want to go away 10 months, come back and go away again.... Can I handle that? x)
I guess we'll find out^^
Apart from that.... apart from that... anything to say? Can't think of anything haha :D
My sister made a photobook for me to show people in Japan which is cool :))))
And and and... I've got GLASSES!! xD Hehe
I'm not really used to them though .... kinda feels weird to wear glasses :S
6 DAYS!!! :D

Randomness
I just went to a ski camp with Oak hall and it was amazing!! :) The weather was great, nice snow, great people... :) And so anyway it's a christian camp so there were messages in the evening and we were going through Jesus' parables , the speaker was a guy called Charlie and he spoke reaaally well! It was easy to follow and really interesting to listen to ^___^
We also had a few testimonies which was great! One of the testimonies has made me want to take a theology course, wouldn't it be so interesting to learn about all the different religions?? And I've been thinking about what I'd like to do after uni, it would be great if I could help people, make a difference even if it's just a small one :)
And I bought a book called A praying life which looks really interesting, recently I've been struggling with praying and I sometimes seem to put God in a box which I hate :S I'd love to be a person who's always the same, at church, at school, at home.. everywhere!
And I've also been thinking I could be a Bible translator.... Except I'm not good at translating >< But it would be a good way to make use of the languages I learn.... I mean I learn languages coz I like them but if I can use them to let other people in the world come to know God then that would be amazing! :)
Or I could be a teacher... (I can't imagine myself being a teacher but who knows, maybe that's what God wants me to do! :D) I really have no idea what I'll be doing in 10 years! I may not even be here anymore...which brings me to what the message was about last night. It was a different man preaching and he was talking about Heaven. He was saying that if we think more about heaven then our life would change, we would make different choices if we actually thought about eternity. Like if I think about it, quite a lot of my friends will go to Hell if they died now.... And they'd have to stay there for eternity! Coz you either spend eternity in Heaven or in Hell... and it makes me cry when I think of all the people I love going to Hell just coz they didn't know about Jesus dying and resurrecting to save us from our sins... T__________T
Anyway... oh yeh the worship was really nice too ^__^ so yeh we had a fun week :D And I might have eaten a bit too much custard because of a custard competition with David but oh well xD And we had a chocolate fondue too :D And and and...there was a japanese lady who I talked to in Japanese and we had a conversation which was cool :D
Mmh english tea.... ^o^ I'm gonna miss that when I'm in Japan ^^'
Right, I should stop chatting now :P

2 months til I go! :O
So as it says in the title I go in 2 months...!!! :D
Yesterday I got all the information from YFU about where I'm staying and which school I go to and it's also got my flight details and a guide to Japan+ Japanese!! xD I've almost finished reading the whole teach yourself Japanese booklet because it's just the basics so for me it's like revision :)
So........I'm so excited!!! :D I've got host parents (the dad lives alone in Tokyo but comes to visit often which is nice) and my host mum stays at home so I'm hoping to build a really good relationship with her and be close :) And then I also have a little brother who's seven!!! So cute! :3 It's the first time for me to have younger siblings seeing as I'm the youngest in my family out of six children xD
And then they've got a little puppy too who's just....adorable! *-* hehe
I'm gonna be in the region of Aichi which is cool coz I'll be able to take the shinkansen to Tokyo sometime and also Kyoto isn't too far :) It's gonna be awesome!! :D
My school is going to be quite different to what I'm used to because it's a all girls catholic school with a uniform and what I'm in at the moment is a school which isn't strict and hasn't got a uniform! ^-^ It's going to be really interesting to encounter such a different culture!
So anyway I've been reaaally excited about it and it makes it really hard to concentrate on the present and on school work and everything :L I have to work really hard to try and keep good marks so I can get into 'high school' or 'college' (I don't really know what you'd call gymnase in English) when I get back from Japan.....
And I'll probably have to work a bit to make sure I don't completely forget how to speak French and German!!
Well...that's all my news for now! I just need to reply to my host family's e-mail ^o^ I want to try and write to them in Japanese....but it'll be hard! >-<
Ja...Mata ne! ;)
