Christmas
This year christmas will be kinda different I guess....
It's extremely strange to not have any decorations up in the house, no advent calendars or christmas songs or anything...
When I went to AEON today then there were a few christmas trees and decorations and everything was quite christmas themed and it made me realize how much I miss it!
I guess it's good though coz it's really made me realize how amazing Christmas is, I'll be super happy next year I bet!! :p Really want to go to the Montreux Christmas market again!! *__*

2 months..
In 2 months I fly back home.. that means I've been here for 8 months already!! It's kinda hard to believe... It's gone by so quickly!
I have so many things I want to do still! So many friends I haven't done stuff with! That's the problem with having 40 people in your class and loving every single person to bits... You don't have time to go do something with everyone :(
Until now I've had an amazing time! C: There are quite a few exchange students who are unhappy with their family or can't get the hang of Japanese.. and I'm not saying I'm very good at Japanese, but I can get along.. I can have fun with my friends even if I don't understand everything C: And I'm extremely happy here!! My host family isn't very strict, only sometimes, and so it hasn't been hard to fit in :) My host mother is adorable and even if my host brother is annoying at times I love him so much!!
I'm gonna miss them when I go home... And even though I don't see my host dad much, he's so nice and I'll miss him too!! LoveChan, the dog too ><
I'll miss my classmates too... everyone of them! It's crazy how everyone gets along! I mean usually in a class you have like groups right? And it sometimes gets a little mean at times... but in my class I've never seen anything like that! you have groups of friends but everyone loves everyone!

Sleepover~
Heyyy!! It's been a while since I wrote!! Well.... 2 weeks :P
So! Yesterday I went to my friend's house after school and slept over!! ^__^
It was so cool!! Kitty's family is so nice and we watched Kpop TV and dramas and all sorts and had a huge delicious dinner!! And then me and Kitty went to the public baths! *__* There was even a blueberry bath! So cool~ We had Coffee Gyuuynuu (milk) afterwards and it was so refreshing and delicious!
We both fell asleep at about 10:30 lol.. :D Too exhausted :p
Which meant we both had to do our hw at school, in a huge rush +___+
So yes I'm having a good time~ Even when I have a big test (JTEST) on Sunday!! ><"
It's always a good time~ Uh oh uh oh oh~ C:
Have to learn a song (choir contest song) for tomorrow!! And also a speech!! (English)

16th Birthday~
Last week was my birthday. I turned 16. I'm now an old lady :P
My host family and friends were all really nice and wished me happy birthday and gave me cards, letters and presents! I was kinda shocked by how much I got!!!
I also got letters from both of my grandmas, atleast a week in advance of course ;) さっすがおばあちゃん；）
Everyone seems to recognize me as a girl who loves: totoro, pandas and bears, cute things and moco moco socks? :DDD And sweets!!! *___* They all know me very well haahahahaha xD

Back to school
My title is back to school but I still don't really know what I'm gonna write about...
So I guess I should explain what I did during the hols?
For the first 2 weeks I went to my club, anime illust., and finished drawing my part for the Cultural Festival..
Then at some point I went to an island not too far away and as a family we stayed there for one night! The first day was BOILING and so we were at the beach all day and my back and shoulders burnt and were bright red!! It hurt too much I couldn't sleep more than 3 hours that night..
But it was super fun!! I dug a huuuge hole and Yuu-kun could fit his whole leg in it XD
In the evening at the hotel we had an enormous dinner with so many amazing things like crab and loads of different types of fish!! And many other things too :D I liked almost everything!!
Then they put futons out for us while we did HANABII <3 Hehe :3 (Fireworks)
So I didn't sleep well and so I tryed to keep LoveChan quiet all night by playing with her ^^' I eventually gave up and fell asleep at like 4 in the morning.. x)
That next day, after a huuuuge breakfast that I could only eat a tiny bit of seeing as I was still stuffed, we took the ferry back and yeh... had a lovely rainy day in Toyota :P
After a few days my back started peeling a lot .__. Wow I hate that SO MUCH!! I'm gonna be more careful about getting burnt from now on ><"
A bit later we went to Tokyo!!! I took the shinkansen with my family and then went around with Hanako.. I already wrote about this didn't I? xD
So! After that, we went to Nagano!! Up in the mountains~ I wanted to go hiking but everyone else didn't want to go coz it was too cloudy to see a good view from the top x)
Ah well xD Next time :) So I just played guitar and walked LoveChan and played around in the river and stuff :)
We played Jungle Speed EVERY NIGHT!! XD Yuu-kun seems to really like it hehe :P
After THAT!! I went (by myself, kawaisou deshou!!) shopping!! I had to walk just over half an hour from the station to get to the recycle shop :) Which means my legs were dead by the end of the day but I still went crazy and bought loads of cheap stuff!! Including a not so cheap coat and jumper and stuff..^^' あらま。。
On the first 2 days of school, a Chinese girl called ShuChan and a Taiwanese girl called RinChan/MeiChan どっちでも良い；） And it's really fun chatting to them!! They both like drama and stuff :D So yeh everyone had tests and us 3 had to "study" and we also wrote a "letter" to the student body :) It was quite fun actually ^___^
I've actually started listening to the lessons seriously and it's so tiring .__. I don't really understand the maths.... but I understand quite a bit of 社会。。which in English is..? I wonder.. xD Heuu XD Can't remember.. social studies? maybe? :P
I already gave up on 古典and国語 though (Old Japanese and hard Japanese .__.)
Everyday after lessons we've been preparing for the Cultural Festival, which reminds me! I need to draw some ultra cute animals to use on the "zoo scene" hehe xD And so yeh it's good fun! But also tiring!!!! :O Then after that I have Anime Illust. and well, I draw or read manga ^___^ Or sleep :P
Oh yeh! On Monday, at karate, I had to punch (with gloves) reaaaally hard at a punch bag.. wait not a bag... a "mito" I think? And so anyway by the end of it my knuckles were bleeding!!! And today at karate I had gloves on too but as soon as I punched then the wounds opened up and I started bleeding again ^^" My sensei had to bind it up for me :S I should get some of that stuff myself! Looks useful! xD
And that, my friends, is where my story ends! :)
I should get back to studying/drawing etc... ><
Ps: My teacher seems to have overcome a BIG change since the first term!! She's suddenly decided to give SO MUCH HOMEWORK!!! :O It's mad.. I don't know how I'm supposed to learn about 100 kanji in 1 week... well she gave us 5 days and now there's only till Monday left so 3 days! :(

Tokyo is the best :D
A bit too crowded though... x')
I got to see an amazing view from an observatory tower thingy :D It was soo cool!!! There were too many clowds around Fujisan which was a shame..
I also got to check out Harajuku, Shinjuku and Shibuya and went to a Temple and wrote a wish and everything!! Went to the Skytree but coz there were so many people, instead of going up we checked out the shops which in itself was AWESOME!!! :D
I'm too lazy for any more details so if you're curious just ask me in private :p

Festivals
I just realized I haven't written anything about the summer festivals here!!
And I've already been to like... 4? One was a little town festival where everyone was very friendly and at the end there was a lotto..bingo? Dunno xD So anyway you could win lots of random stuff, not only cool stuff like BBQ sets and bikes :P
I also went to the 2nd and 3rd (I think?) most popular fireworks festivals in the area :D (Or was it the whole of Japan..? I doubt it ._.) So yeh, Toyota and Okazaki :D It was AMAZING!!! I've never seen such amazing fireworks O.o I mean you normally get a few different types and it'll last maybe 15 mins or something but these fireworks were all different types and characters and symbols and it lasted for atleast an hour!! They also had the olympics symbol at Toyota ;D
The place was PACKED! Especially the train stations!! O.o
I wore my yukata (which my host mum bought for me ^_^) to them of course :D
The Toyota one I went with my family and invited 2 friends and the Okazaki one, I went with a friend :3
The day after the Okazaki one I went to Anjo for the Tanabata festival! There were loads of decorations everywhere!!! All traffic was stopped on those streets too~ On both sides were stalls and stalls and stalls etc... Quite a lot of it was food but there were also games to play, darts and shooting and catching fish and such, and also just stores with STUFF. xD
It was really fun looking at everything and then we stopped for kakigori (crushed ice with toppings~) I put condensed milk on mine... YUM! Definitely gonna try that again sometime!!
Wow I'm writing a lot today!! ^-^
So yes that's the summary I guess..? I've been lazing around these past few days.. and I think the day after tomorrow I'm going to an Onsen with my little bro and grandparents? Yay! o/
And on Saturday pool~ Then go to a friend's house for the night and on Sunday something about fish.. not fishing.. but catching fish with your hands? Dunno :P Maybe I'll write all about that adventure next week if I have the time..

I need to put pics up too... .__. Too much to do >< I also finally started doing my homework today! Can't believe I thought I could just leave it to the last minute... :O We have to go to school sometime during the hols to give it to the teacher.. in 2 weeks I think :S Oh dear dear dear!
And I haven't done any kumon for atleast a month! :OOOO No no no no no!
I wonder if I'll ever be able to motivate myself to continue reading Hansel and Gretel in Japanese ^^'
Oh yeh, speaking of reading.. I also have to read Harry Potter in Japanese and then write a review.. in Japanese ;___; MURI!
I'll stop rambling now ^-^ Maybe I should put pics up now? C:

Olympics 2012
Got up at 5 in the morning to watch the Olympics 2012 Opening!! :D All 4 of us were lazing around watching it for 4 hours lol :D
It was... EPIC! ^_______^
Shame it wasn't really the Queen jumping off that helicopter.. would've been awesome.
I also bought some manga supplies which turned out to be rather expensive .__. ink and a "fountain pen" :) It's nice to draw with though!
And later we went to a dance festival!! Oiden odori :D It was coool!! Everyone was dressed up in costumes and stuff and they all danced to the same song at the same time!
And I'm too lazy to write anything else :P

SUMMER HOLS :DD
Well that's about it,.... it's the summer hols now :P Busy busy busy! ( I say that but I 've been lazing around reading Harry Potter for hours on end.. :PP Now on the 5th book ^-^)

Nagano
On Saturday the 15th I went to Nagano with my host mum, brother and granma to visit the host great aunt until the 16th and we drove up to the top of a mountain and the view was beauutiful!!
We did a mini hike lol like 20 mins and then went to a curry buffet!!
In the evening we went to an 'onsen' ...not sure if it is?
Maybe just a normal public bath? And my little host bro didn't want to be by himself so he came to the girls side with us!! xD
I surprised myself by being completely at ease walking around and playing with him even though I was naked lol.....!!
Must be my inexistant japanese blood that runs through my veins ;D
AND THEN!!! Dan dan daaaan!! We went to the woods and went to a really dark area and there were loads of FIREFLIES!!! <3 ___ <3 So cute!!! I held about 4 of them in my hands at once!!
We also had amazing homemade meals and an enormous watermelon!! *Q* Tasted amazing.... It's really cool up there so I had an afternoon nap and slept really well at night too ^-^ I read 2 books and we played UNO and chatted a lot!!! Sure had some good laughs xD
Then on the way back home in the car we played shiritori for 2 hours... O_o Exhausting!! So hard trying to think up Japanese words!!! >< But it was good fun! :D

Nagoya
Heya!!
So on saturday the... I don't know... the... 30? maybe?
I went to Nagoya with some friends and we shopped, took loads of purikura
(I dressed up as a maid!!) And we also did karaoke for 3 hours!! :D
I sang loads of random songs including japanese ones!!
It was really hard to read and song at the same time!!!
But yeh it was good fun ^-^
And I ate a reaaally oishii crepe at lunch!!! *Q*
And then yesterday I went to a local mini festival for kids!!
It was pouring with rain but all the kids were playing games and having the times of their lives hehe :3
Today I had an English test and I didn't really understand the japanese so yeh... xD Another english test tomorrow ;__; Gambaru!!! (^o^)b
And in karate today I really hurt my legs and have got weird red rash look-alike splodges on my arms and legs... .__. WHY?? :O

It was pouring with rain but all the kids were playing games and having the times of their lives hehe :3
Today I had an English test and I didn't really understand the japanese so yeh... xD Another english test tomorrow ;__; Gambaru!!! (^o^)b
And in karate today I really hurt my legs and have got weird red rash look-alike splodges on my arms and legs... .__. WHY?? :O

Test week
Hello everyone! If anyone still actually reads this!
So this week is test week which means I will have a lot of self study time! Last time I had that it wasn't terribly exciting... Just working with a teachr watching your every move ;) And a random chat with Aya-sensei which counted as 'Japanese conversation practice' :P
So yeh it'll probably be kinda similar I guess?
Except we'll be TWO! :D I can't remember if I mentioned it but there are now 3 exchange students in my school!! Me, Kei and Shannon! (From America) And so Kei is taking all the tests :O I'm taking just English (plus a japanese test I did today which was impossible... .__. it was apparently 3kyuu which is the lowest level I'm aiming for by the end of the exchange!!) So yeh, I should kinda be studying English grammar and translating things atm.. ?
Apart from that... I've been writing in my diary everyday :) Which has caused quite a few late nights!! And I have been renting films, anime etc instead of watching on the internet!!
I got out Over drive and Never let me go :) I haven't watched the latter yet though.. it's supposed to be very good.
Anything else.. Oh yeh! Yesterday I met up with Mira in Chiryu and we took purikura and ate bread and taiyaki!!! It was really good!! *-*
And I might meet up with people in Nagoya this Saturday~
um um um um um ummmmmmmmm can't think of anything else??
Even though there are so many things I could say haha :P
That's enough for now I guess ;)
Oh yeh I was thinking of travelling round Germany next year!! There's a Japanfest or something in Dusseldorf and seeing as I have no school (well I think so anyway..) then I could travel round and kill 3 birds with 1 stone! Practice German, visit friends (YFU..) and get to travel and see things!! :D :D :D :D
Dunno if I'll actually do it but it sounds awesome right?? :D

Complaints
Today I'm going to complain for once...
I would like to say that Japan is all amazing and I have no problems but that wouldn't be true..
I mean, it's not a big problem or anything, it just kind of annoys me!
So here it is: How can japanese people find it so easy to point it out to you that you've gained weight??
I'm not too bothered by gaining a bit coz I know that it's normal! It's normal to gain a bit of weight when you're on an exchange!! So I can convince myself it's fine, but when people, who you haven't seen in a while, come up to you and the first thing they say is ' Oh! Naomichan! Futotta?' It kinda gets you depressed.... I can't exactly help having such chubby cheeks anyway.....can I?
So there you are, my random rambling n.1!! xD Atleast it's not anything important huh :P
The only important thing I can complain about is having a hurting back for 3 months and not being taken to a doctor even when I say I want to go... xDDD
Ps: it's almost exactly a third of the exchange now!!! :O 早い！！！

Random post..again! (About Golden week)
I know this is reaaally late but I wrote this for the YFU fb page ages ago and thought I might put it up here too.. xD
Golden Week
Golden Week is a Japanese holiday made up of consecutive public holidays such as the Emperor’s birthday, Greenery day and Kodomo no hi which is Children’s day!
Most Japanese families profit from this holiday to do family activities such as travelling abroad or just visiting family!
I’ve been staying with a family, host parents and a host brother who is 8, in Toyota for just over a month now and my host father, who lives in Osaka for his work, came over for Golden Week.
On Tuesday I had a sports festival and then school on Wednesday so holidays officially started on Thursday even if I had Monday off school.
In my case, I went to Nagoya to the morning market (Fresh fish, seaweed, flowers and such..) with my family and then we went to the JUMP shop, the Pokémon centre and the Ghibli shop! It was very busy because it was the holidays and there was also an event featuring Pokémon games and a show! We also went to a store called Book Off which sells second hand books, DVD’s and CD’s! I ended up buying Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in Japanese for only 45 yen because we had a 60 yen off coupon and it was only 105 yen in the first place! 45 yen is approximately 50 cents!
On Friday (Greenery Day) my host mother and I made charaben (bento/ picnic with a character!) We had to start making them at 4 in the morning and finished at 7. We then drove to the sea and met the host father’s colleague and we went digging for clams! It seems like it’s a popular activity at this time of the year because there were many people in line to get to the sea! We had a picnic at the park and then for dinner had clam soup at the grandparents’ house!
Saturday is Children’s day so many people put up <<koinobori>> which are carp shaped flags. The black one represents the father, the red carp is the mother and the last carp is the son. (Children’s day is also known as Boy’s day)
We are going to visit the paternal grandparents this time!
On Sunday I am going to <<hanami>> (with a Chinese exchange student who is also in my school) which means viewing flowers and is usually used when talking about the sakura viewing time in April!

BBQ
So today I went to Aya's house for a BBQ!! It was really fun!! We also went to the Okazaki kouen (park) and drank maccha (green tea) and ate sweets!! I had something called Ajisai <3 Delicious!!
We also walked around town a lot :) Aya is amazing at explaining things when I don't understand!!! :D
We went to 2 libraries and we fed melon pan to the fish in the river!! (koi)
We also played games and did origami and stuff and she gave me 2 books :) a guide on okazaki and also a guide to drawing manga!!! ^___^
So yeh it was really fun :))

Yesterday I went to AEON with Izu!! :) It was really fun and the building is ENORMOUS!!!
I'm getting really good at starting to write posts bit never finishing them!!! xDD
So this was last Saturday!! We went to the cinema and watched Dark Shadows and then we did purikura and went shopping!! I bought some clothes from Honeys! :) I LOVE Honeys!! <3 <3
And...... I can't remember anything else!! :P
But yeh it was fun ^___^

I can't get her songs out of my head!!!! pon pon pon, tsukematsu, miracle orange, candy candy.... WHY DO THEY HAVE TO GET STUCK IN MY HEAD LIKE THIS???!!??!?!?!? 'O'
I mean, yes I love the songs but when you've got one song stuck in your head for a whole WEEK and that's all you ever sing it gets a tiny bit annoying ._.

Toyota and Fossils

I can't even remember most of what's happened since I last wrote... And I can't be bothered to write a long thing so I'll just say that we had the mid term tests so I got to have most of my afternoons off... one day I didnt even go to school I went to a flower festival with okaasan!! :D
And....yesterday was my host bros undokai and then he had a judo match and won for the firts time!!! :)
And then we ate at a soba restaurant!! Today was the Area ORT (orientation) for YFU students in Aichi ken and it was good!! ;)
It was nice getting to see everyone again!! And we didnt really have any problems (We being me and Jason) so we just chatted with the Returnee :D (Juri san or smthg..?)
Anyway... that's about it I guess :)
Well probably nlot but I can't remember anything else so tough :P

Liz Lisa
Today.. I fell in love! xD
No not really :P But I discovered the clothes brand liz lisa! I've never actually actually seen any real clothes, just pics and vids but the stuff is so CUTE!! >w< Well, not all of it but most of it!!!
And so anyway the problem is that it's extreeeemely expensive!!!
...I just realized that maybe it's a good thing it's expensive! It means I can't go and buy loads!!! xP
So anyway I'd like to go to one of the shops at some point~ It's really popular here I think!!!

Nagoya
It's Golden Week so there was no school today! :D
I got up at 7 and we drove over to Nagoya to go the early morning market!!
There was a lot of seafood and fresh fish and seaweed and stuff! It wasn't too pleasant seeing people chop up huge fish in front of your eyes but it was an interesting experience haha ;P
After that we went to this big shopping mall underneath the station!!
Soooooooo many shops O.o
When we got there, there was a biiig queue outside the JUMP shop!
Something about getting to win something...?
So anyway, we went to the pokemon centre first! It was packed with little kids with their buckets full of badges, towels, battle cards, pencils, folders, fluffy toys and so on..!
I was rather tempted to imitate them and buy a bunch of stuff too but it was really expensive >< (And seeing as I don't really have any money left..)
Next we went to the JUMP shop and I spent aaages looking at stuff!! There were loads of people there too! Almost impossible to move around x)
They had figurines, badges, keyrings, folders, stationary, mugs, T-shirts, posters, manga..... etc :D
I bought a bakuman file, a One Piece thing to put under paper when you write... dunno what that's called?!xp and...a manga! the latest chapters^^
I don't really know many of the manga in it but oh well!! And with that there was a PET bottle holder which keeps it cold! And also a One Piece poster thing for measuring your height... xD
Oh and a little memo booklet too ^-^
Because I'd spent a certain amount, I was allowed to play a game and try to win something so I gave it to yuukun and he won 2 sticker sheets for me ^___^
Next was the totoro shop!! Well, more of a Ghibli shop...
Soooo many things!! So cute too!! >w< but these things were also really expensive .___.
Mleeehh! なぜ？？！ なぜ 日本 の みせ にも 高いの？！
There were also loaaads of those little machine things where you put 200 yen in and something comes out, you can't know what it is though so I didn't risk it hahahaha :D There were some real cute things though ^.^
Hmmmm what else?.... OH YEH! There was a mini pokemon convention thingy with loads of games and a big show on stage! Yuukun played loads of games and kept winning random things lol!
Then we went to a steak restaurant and I had a "hamburg" and also tried matcha au lait!! It's soooo おいしいいいい！！ UMAI :D
Hahaha then we went to BOOK OFF <3 <3 I bought Harry Potter in japanese and coz it was only 105 yen and okaasan gave me 2 coupons i ended up paying only 45 yen~ ^_________^
I watched Kimi ni Todoke today too! And then went and helped Okaasan shop for charaben ingredients!
We have to get up at 4 tomorrow to make them ToT It's gonna be tough!!!!!!!

Money money money, must be funny, in a rich man's world...
I'm broke~
I really have been buying too much stuff ._.

Centrair
Today we went to centrair! (The airport!) It's funny coz this airport.. it seemed like most people just go the airport for their holiday! They don't actually catch a plane :P
So we went to the roof and watched planes take off! And then we looked around shops and there was a bouncy castle and a little train thing ^___^
We ate ramen for lunch :DD It was so good!!! *-* So hot though >.<
I managed not to buy ANYTHING!!
Which is a miracle!! Coz in one shop there was a whole shelf of totoro goods..... *______________*
They were expensive though .__.
It's kinda annoying how japanese all love things like elmo and mickey mouse and stuff so totoros are still expensive and kinda rare ._.
We did purikura!!!! It was fun ^.^
Then.. oh yeh! In the car on the way there I watched some of the film (non animated) kimi ni todoke!!! :D
I had gotten it from the rental shop last week ^.^ It was cool coz I've already read the manga and watched some of the series so I could understand!! Well.... I sort of knew some of the words off by heart so it wasn't hard :P
And so anyway, we went home and I TIDIED MY ROOM!!!!! It was reaaaally messy ._.
But it's fine now ^__^ (I think!)
And read some shoujo manga in japanese :DD It's cool I'm getting faster at reading ^-^ Probably coz I'm no longer bothering to look up words in the dictionary so I understand less but oh well :P
Then... we went to a buffet with obaachan, ojiichan, Ayako san (aunt), yukihara san? (uncle who's name I never remember ._.) kocchan and yamato kun!! :D I ate so much!! 'O' It was really delicious though! Apart from the omelet with shell in it and the weird jelly things that almost made me throw up but ate all of them anyway.. xDD
There was a chocolate fondue and ice cream and puriiin :D (pudding! which means.. creme caramel)
So yeh it was delicious! ^____^
I really am putting on weight ^^' It probably doesn't help that I'm not doing much sport ._. (My school only has 2 gym lessons a week! And I haven't been to the gym with okaasan at all recently... and for some reason I keep forgetting to do my daily sit ups O:D)
Anywayyyyyy this isn't interesting at all!! xD
After that we went to obaachans house (traditional house!!!!!!!!!) and we chatted and drank coffee and watched the kids have judo fights xP
So yeh it's been fun ^_______^
Tomorrow we have UNDOKAI!!! Sports competition for any poorly educated people ;)
I'm playing volleyball! (NOT a good idea!! xDDD) and most of the time my serves swerve off to the left ._. or they don't go anywhere near the net at all! ^^' Dear dear dear let's just hope I don't do too badly tomorrow? xD
I haven't actually met with any of my classmates apart from one time after school with Nodoka.. and I've met up with KeiChan but she's not my classmate so it doesn't count ^^'
It would be nice if we could do something... I can't this holiday though coz everyday I'm busy!!! 'O'

It's kinda annoying how japanese all love things like elmo and mickey mouse and stuff so totoros are still expensive and kinda rare ._.
We did purikura!!!! It was fun ^.^
Then.. oh yeh! In the car on the way there I watched some of the film (non animated) kimi ni todoke!!! :D
I had gotten it from the rental shop last week ^.^ It was cool coz I've already read the manga and watched some of the series so I could understand!! Well.... I sort of knew some of the words off by heart so it wasn't hard :P
And so anyway, we went home and I TIDIED MY ROOM!!!!! It was reaaaally messy ._.
But it's fine now ^__^ (I think!)
And read some shoujo manga in japanese :DD It's cool I'm getting faster at reading ^-^ Probably coz I'm no longer bothering to look up words in the dictionary so I understand less but oh well :P
Then... we went to a buffet with obaachan, ojiichan, Ayako san (aunt), yukihara san? (uncle who's name I never remember ._.) kocchan and yamato kun!! :D I ate so much!! 'O' It was really delicious though! Apart from the omelet with shell in it and the weird jelly things that almost made me throw up but ate all of them anyway.. xDD
There was a chocolate fondue and ice cream and puriiin :D (pudding! which means.. creme caramel)
So yeh it was delicious! ^____^
I really am putting on weight ^^' It probably doesn't help that I'm not doing much sport ._. (My school only has 2 gym lessons a week! And I haven't been to the gym with okaasan at all recently... and for some reason I keep forgetting to do my daily sit ups O:D)
Anywayyyyyy this isn't interesting at all!! xD
After that we went to obaachans house (traditional house!!!!!!!!!) and we chatted and drank coffee and watched the kids have judo fights xP
So yeh it's been fun ^_______^
Tomorrow we have UNDOKAI!!! Sports competition for any poorly educated people ;)
I'm playing volleyball! (NOT a good idea!! xDDD) and most of the time my serves swerve off to the left ._. or they don't go anywhere near the net at all! ^^' Dear dear dear let's just hope I don't do too badly tomorrow? xD
I haven't actually met with any of my classmates apart from one time after school with Nodoka.. and I've met up with KeiChan but she's not my classmate so it doesn't count ^^'
It would be nice if we could do something... I can't this holiday though coz everyday I'm busy!!! 'O'
I'll stop babbling now... I think it's too late to go to the ofuro >.< Mleeehhh I don't like it when there's no hot water left ._.
And I stil haven't written in Kaya...... Does this mean another late night? >< And tomorrow alarm at 5.50 again ._.

Toyota
So, today we went to Toyota!! It was reaaaaally hot!!!!! 'O' Still is.... x)
We went to Matsuzakaya and T-face and bought sweets and toblerone and went to the hyaku en shop and then went to a temple!!! :D It was so nice! ^___^ After that we went to macdo drive through and ate at the toyota stadium! For some reason, probably coz its golden week, there was a big market thingy with loaaads of plants!! And a few random stalls ^-^ I bought some hair scrunchies :D And there were Echo Rangers presenting something .... lol :D
When I wanted to take a picture they posed for me xDD And then also one of the parking surveilleur people came and started talking to me!!He tried to speak in English but by the end was just talking to me in japanese lol :D
So yeh it's been a fun day :DDDD
In a few mins we're going to skyhall for Yuukuns judo practice and me and okaasan will go to the gym! :)

Golden Week!!!
From tomorrow onwards it's Golden Week!! :D Yaaay :D Holidays ^_^
Well it's kinda strange coz I have to go to school for the sports (I'm playing volleyball) competition, undokai, on tuesday and then on wednesday we've got lessons...
Anyway, tomorrow I'm going to Toyota with Okaasan and Yuukun and we're going shopping!
And then I might go to a church on sunday, not sure yet^^
Then.. on one day we're going digging by the sea!!
And also the Nagoya market and then the JUMP shop, pokemon centre and Totoro shop :DD <3
And hopefully I'll be able to meet up with friends :)
Otousan is coming home on thursday ^_____________^

Holidays
Hello! There's 1 more week of school and then holidays!! Golden Week :D I wonder what we'll do ^___^
I should probably set myself some projects and stuff so that I don't waste my time doing nothing ;)
Recently I've been watching Hunter X Hunter and also trying to read the manga in japanese!! I take forever to read just 1 page though x) I was reading in the o-furo today :D I think I might start doing that more often coz it's really relaxing.. ^_^
Oh and today we went to this Kyoto market thing and it had loads of cool stuff!! Expensive though x)
Oh almost 10, time to go to bed I think!! Oyasumi!!!

Hullo!! I'm actually writing in my Nikki atm... (diary) and so I have to write everything twice ._.
And I often tell my friends everything that happens in my life coz once I start talking it just all comes out lol! So in the end I say the same thing maany times a day!! 'O'
Anyway! Today has been nice! I went on a bike ride and then walked LoveChan with Natsumi and Yuukun and then we made DANGO!!! :D :D And ate them afterwards hehehe ^___^

Post Office...
Hello everyone~ ^-^
The title seems kinda random I know!!
But it's because for about a week now I've been meaning to go to the post office to send some letters!!
And now I've accumulated so much stuff to send that it's unbearable!! (Wow I almost forgot how to spell that word O.o
I definitely need to read hard books to keep my English at a sufficiant level!! >.<) Anyway! Oh yeh I also ordered a webcam from Amazon and I have to use the post office ATM within 6 days so like 4 days now.... :S Taihen!!! 'O'
And the reason I haven't been able to go is that the one in my town closes at 5.30!!
And because I have anime club every day after school and then I have to take trains and stuff to get home I get back between 6.30 and 7! x)
And today I left early but got in at the train station at 5.35 so that won't do .___.
Seeing as I couldn't go to the post office I decided to find the quickest way to get there by bike for the next time and I bought some sweets and a monthly shoujo manga magazine (340 yen!! ^-^)
And then went on a little bike ride for 15 mins or so, exploring the area :D
It was fun!! Kinda nice being REALLY alone for once! And then I got home and there were sweets on the table for me to eat ^____^ Little madeleine bears and stuff :D So cute!! >w<
Oh and on the subject of bears this morning when I made my obentou I cut out little bear shaped carrot, ham and cheese and decorated my lunch with them!! :D
It's funny how a nicely presented lunch can make me so happy!! And the feeling after finishing cooking everything and arranging it on time is awesome~
Oh and this morning.... Yuukun made pancakes!! And mine was bear shaped!! Or was it a mickey mouse? Hahaha :D No idea how he did it O.o And he put fruit in some of them yummm *-* He's so sweet!! A bit of a geek though xDD I bet when he's 15 he'll be a huge geek...:P Wonder if he'll still be obsessed with pokemon?
I'm really babbling on about nothing... What's gotten into me? xD I don't remember ever talking so much....well.. writing ^-^ I didn't write in my diary today yet... I've been writing every day for about 2 weeks now! Don't know how I find things to say.. xDD I just Racontemavie.... ^___^
Oh yeh that reminds me! Today is Tuesday.... I arrived in Japan on Tuesday 4 weeks ago!!!!!!!! :) Not a month yet but still ^-^ So in case you're wondering; So far I love Japan! I've had the most amazing 4 weeks!! Everyone is really nice to me and they make an effort to talk to me and stuff!
I've had a few brief moments of heavy homesickness and my remedy seems to be drinking black tea with lots of sugar and milk!! (LOL? :D) And eating chocolate....
Chocolate! *-* Meiji chocolate is amazing~~ <3 <3 I have to be careful not to eat too much though x) Everyone says when you go on an exchange you gain weight.. I wonder if it's true in Japan too? Even with all the healthy food.. probably! Seeing as it's just because of your body having to accustom to a different diet or something like that! And I've been eating loads of sweets so.. xP Yabai xD
I've only done any real sport ONCE since I've been in Japan!! (4 weeks!!O.O) When I went to the gym with my host mum....
We still haven't done any sport in gym lessons! We just listen to the teacher rambling on about school rules or something...
I've been reading Lord of the Flies since this morning and it's actually quite good! I didn't expect to like it much from the cover but I guess you should never judge a book by it's cover huh! ^-^
So yeh I'm about halfway through and I like it :D I've been reading a bit during class (I also do Japanese work...and half follow the classes)
During the modern history something or other lesson we were just listening to the teacher talking and I didn't understand a thing so I just read my book hehe ^__^
It's cool coz every day I'm allowed to spend one of the lessons in the library (NOT bibliotheque!! This is english! lol confusing languages....xD) so I might just read books...:)
They sure have a lot of books in the library!! It's much smaller than the one in my old school in Switzerland but they fit a lot more books in haha :D
Haan I'm tired now .___.

And.... I forgot what I was gonna write! .o.
Don't I have an amazing memory! ;) Which is especially useful for remembering the names of the 38 other girls in my class... and also the senpai and the neighbouring classes and all the random people who I seem to know for no reason whatsoever xP

Hello everyone!!!! :D
It's Saturday evening and I have lots of stuff to say!! ^___^
So yesterday at school after listening to the gym teacher's speech I went and did Washikougei with KeiChan (chinese exchange student in 3rd year) and Mori Sensei :) Washikougei is the art of...sticking japanese paper together and onto stuff? xD It's fun!! And really pretty!! I started making this little folder thing for keeping Tea ceremony paper in ^-^ And then after that I learnt how to put a kimono on!! I can't remember everything but it was fun :DD And then we did a tea ceremony! I learnt how to do the whole sequence!!! Can't remember anything >.< I had to sit in Seiza for a whole hour.... my legs were dead afterwards!!!
ま。。たのしかった！ I also got to eat manju and drink tea so that was cool hehe ^___^
And then I went and had lunch with my class and bought HOT COCOA!!! From a vending machine! :D Oh wait that was Thursday lol xD Ah well :P
For lunch I ate Onigiri which I made before school, tamago (egg) roll which I also made, some salad thing with cucumber and seaweed that I made on Thursday... And random veggies and STRAWBERRIES *-* Haha it was really tasty!! I love Japanese obentou!! :DDD So anyway after lunch we had cleaning! Everyone has to wear a long white apron thingy xDD It's funny :P And so yesterday a girl in my class found the body shell thingy of a cricket!! And in the end we didn't do any work (we were supposed to be gardening..)
Then after that we went to the library, got library cards and stuff and then looked around at the books and stuff :D There's an English section with loads of old books and surprisingly I found quite a few books I wanted to read!!!! ^-^ So I got out a manga called Aventura (which I already finished and read the rest of it on the computer...) which is AWESOME!!! :D I love it!! And also Lord of the flies...
And then last period of school I went into a room with Kei Chan and Yamada sensei, a teacher who recently got married! Mori sensei showed me photos of her marriage!! ^-^ And I did a japanese test so that she can know what level I'm at... :)
And......ummmm...... oh yeh after school I went to the cooking club with Nodoka Chan and we decorated cookies and had to bake these..nut things? It was fun :D But I don't think I want to join that club... probably the Anime club :)))
Oh and KeiChan gave me a ticket to go somewhere with her so today I get everything ready, I even bring an umbrella, very organised, and then I get on the train, and 15 mins later I remember that I hadn't put the ticket in my bag!!!!! So I get off, take the train in the other direction, speed along on my bike back home, get the ticket and speed back to the station, get the next train to Chiryu and then get a train to Higashi Okazaki and then just miss the train to Otogawa so go to the bus stop but it's 20 mins till the next bus to school so I go to the station shop and buy a manga magazine!!! something or other JUMP (not shounen weekly jump) for 480 yen~ Hehe ^__^
And then take the bus to Hikari Gaoka (school) meet KeiChan and walk to the concert place where there's a 'Mandorin Ensemble'. It was so cool!!! *-* Oh and I hadn't had lunch so we stopped by a konbini and I got some CHOCO PAN >w<
Then.... we went to the Recycle Shop!! And it has LOAAAADS of cheap stuff!! *.* I found lots of stationary and stuff for school and then got a hoodie and some CD's too :) All that was 2'000 yen! :) Yatta :DD
Then managed (no idea how!!) to find my way home by asking lots of people for directions seeing as I can't read much japanese so at train stations I'm STUCK! xD And and and... got home.. ate dinner.. i was so oishiiiii ^-^ And went to the ofuro.. chatted with Okaasan for a long time :D Played with a ball with her and Yuukun and also showed them my Gameboy and the Pokemon game I have. XD Then... came onto the computer and started writing this? :) And put pics onto the comp using the camera lead which got CHEWED by LoveChan the dog who lives in the family... ^^' I need to get a new one! Oh and for some reason my CD player/radio/speaker for iPod doesn't work at all!! I don't know if it's coz of the power limit in japanese sockets or what? :S And there's a space for batteries in it... but I remember it working in Switzerland without any batteries... I DON'T GET IT!!! >.< So atm the CD's I bought today are useless and I can only listen to my iPod with my headphones on.. x)

What I did on Monday... read japanese tales! And did a bit of japanese ;)

Hanami! :D
So! Yesterday, on the 7th of April, I went with my host family to Hanami!!! And for anyone who doesn't know hanami is a japanese festival for looking at sakura!! And for anyone who doesn't know sakura means cherry blossom.... (LOL)
So anyway there were loads of food stalls and stuff!! :D And it was reeeaaally pretty!! 'O'
After eating lunch we went to Okazaki Castle and there was a wedding!! They were all wearing kimonos! *-* And there was also a bunch of people dressed up and they were singing and dancing~~
It was fun! :)
And after that we went to karaoke!! My litle host bro sang loads of pokemon songs lol :D
And then we went to the Mcdo drive through and ate at home ^_^ It was good!
This morning I woke up at 10 and went on a wonderful walk with my family and the dog LoveChan ^-^ The weather was really nice~~ And I met lots of neighbours hehe they're all really friendly!!! We ended up going on a walk with 4 other people hehe xD And then mum and dad hid chocolate bunnies and eggs round the house and me and Yudai looked for them :D
They were delicious :DDD And then we ate soba and raw fish at lunch and went to the shops, I bought school socks and a skirt :D
For dinner we had a cheese fondue that I'd brought with me from Switzerland!! The parents loved it but Yudai doesn't like cheese so he ate rice, like everyday haha xD
