Snowboarding and England

So! On Friday, I had another little adventure :) My mum drove me and my brother over to France to go snowboarding for the afternoon! We had planned on staying in Switzerland but couldn't find anywhere with enough snow and pistes so we went over the border and ended up just staying there :D

It was sooo nice! It was a school day so it was basically empty, and the sun was out and the snow was brilliant! Not soft powder snow but it wasn't icy or slushy which is good ^___^

I tried to snowboard switch, I'm goofy so I was just trying to snowboard normally.. but it's HARD!!
It feels so wrong and it makes me feel like a complete beginner again o_o
(Not that I'm much better boarding goofy..)
My brother had a week of lessons a few weeks ago so he knew how to do switch and he was trying to show me how to carve aswell! It's not very hard.. but I can't seem to do it very well ToT
He also showed me how to do 180s.. just when you're going down the mountain, you start turning and then you jump round.. it's confusing..!!
Especially when he's normal and I'm goofy so it's the other way round for everything.

Well anyway, I tried twice and then decided I wanted to try it when there was softer snow, just to be safe, so we went up the lift one last time and raced down! :) I won, but only coz someone cut infront of Nat and then he forgot to turn left towards the cafe where our parents were waiting :P Nyahaha

I'm glad I went snowboarding again! even if it was only an hour ^^

What else? Oh yes, so on Saturday I went and got on a plane and flew to England! My grandparents met me at the airport and we went to an indian restaurant, YUM! I had a cider.. just because xD
And then on Sunday I went with my grandad to a pub in Birmingham where he played with his jazz band :) It was really cool ^-^ And it was St Patrick's day so everyone was wearing green hats and drinking guinness ^^ I had a ginger beer..

Then went to Jimmy Spices which was cool, I tried loads of different things :) And... what else? I did some Spanish with my grandma :D (That's one of the reasons I came here, to learn Spanish).

Right, lunchtime :)
